I'm Still Up!

So I re-read my last post, and it is full of self-loathing and typos, but I'm gonna leave it as is because it makes me laugh. I was so wiped at that point in my day of travels, and the post is a fairly accurate document of my headspace at the time. You should see the tech stuff I wrote for work - completely incomprehensible!

I are in my hotel room in Comox. I just ate a large fish and chips, with a pint of some local red beer. If you never hear from me again, it's because I have exploded. But it will be a happy, satisfied explosion - relieving the universe of my belly tension. Meanwhile, outside, there is a steel grated bridge over which every car makes a low frequency zipping sound as they pass. And the sirens, o the sirens. This would all be really annoying if I weren't on the verge of unconciousness.

As for BC: if you've never been, it is exactly like Danger Bay and The Beachcombers. Exactly. Effeminate dudes in tight white shorts are playing tennis with killer whales, everyone has a moustache, and giant logs jam the city streets. They also seem to play a lot of 54-40 here - I seriously thought I had tuned in to some Neil Osbourne memorial program, but then I remembered he wasn't dead, but then I wasn't sure because I hadn't heard anything from them in a while...
