Gomez, eh?

So, Bob, I see you've traded Chris Higgins (the big Assistant Captain) for Scott Gomez (a smallish, overpaid centre) and are letting Komisarek test the free agent market. If Komi goes... and considering the massive Gomez cap hit ($8M!)... I sure hope you have a good plan to fill that hole on defence because frankly, we just got a whole lot smaller. And we were awful when he went down in the playoffs last year. And, y'know, he's kind of cute. You know who might be a good fit? Francois Beauchemin from Anaheim (if we can still afford him). Or even better? Mike Komisarek. Schneider was pretty ace too.

Come on Bob - don't make me hate this team again.
