Smashing Pumpkins - Mellon Collie & The Infinite Sadness: save for 1979 and a few others, I find this album almost unlistenable nowadays. The heavy guitar riffs just sound obnoxious, the silly soft electropop songs are still as terrible as always, and his voice sounds extra grating on this album. That said, Siamese Dream is still almost perfect, and Adore still has all of one good song (Shame)...
Postal Service - Give Up: I listened to this guy pretty much non-stop for about three months straight when it first came out. Now it always gets skipped when it pops across the pod on shuffle. And I have no good reason why. Mysteriously, I still dig Death Cab and that first DNTEL album quite a bit...
Gorillaz - s/t: again, I listened to this solid for quite a while, and now it sounds really dated. Maybe it's Dan The Automator's production, or the played-out singles, or the far superior second album - who knows. Skip, every time...
Others? Anyone?
