Moving Daze

Well we're in, with lots of help (thanks everyone!). We're sore. We're tired. We're covered in paint. We have sworn new enemies (see below). Our kitchen cabinets are currently disassembled and are being sanded and repainted (by us). Silly wolf-head and floral-patterned borders are being removed and burned to hell. Boxes are stacked in the appropriate rooms, to be emptied once each room has been repainted and decorated accordingly. And the new furniture is in, and looks great.

Outside, the lawn is a jungle full of dandelions (even after my two-hour weeding marathon) and our poor lone Echo feels woefully out of place on this street where SUVs and luxury vehicles fill each driveway. But we'll work hard this summer to ensure we're not the embarrassment of the block. Fear not, Fireside Drive...
