- It is a half day at work.
- It is also pizza day.
- Despite beers with friends last night until midnight, I am relatively awake this morning and my dull hangover is probably contributing positively to my outlook on the day.
- Having mysteriously forgotten to set my alarm last night (see above), the phone rang at 7:00 and I was able to make it to the carpool on time. Also, Lydia slept in until 7:00 (!).
- My carpool drove angrily and aggressively on slush covered roads this morning, with Supertramp's greatest hits blaring on the stereo, and yet we did not crash and die, nor did I freak out and put my fist through the dash.
- Sean Cullen's twitter feed is exceptionally awesome this morning: https://twitter.com/mrseancullen.
- My iPod shuffle is also exceptionally awesome this morning.
- Habs and Pens won last night, while Leafs and Sens lost, and my attempt to trade Malkin from my fantasy team fell through just in time for him to net a hat trick for me.
- I have two tall Propeller Bitter bottles waiting for me at home, and the promise of some awesome seafood chowder later tonight.
- Santa Claus is really real.
- Tomorrow is vacation.
There - consider my day jinxed. Merry Christmas all!
