EDIT: 8:14 AM, 26-Nov-2010 -- Still nothing happening. Also, the internet seems to stop dead during American Thanksgiving. I want my AV Club and Community reviews and Pitchfork updates, dammit!

EDIT! 8:30 PM, 28-Nov-2010 -- Terri and I are so very happy to introduce to you the newest member of our family... THIS new Canon 12MP point-and-shoot digital camera! She is compact and easy to use, and seems to take good pics so far, although I have yet to load any onto the computer. FYI: you have to buy the SD card separately. We've named her "Clicky", and we love her very much, and so does Lydia, which is a relief to us because she is so attached to that big old one...

EDIT: 8:40 AM, 29-Nov-2010 -- Nothing happening... but yesterday I did try to repair the insulation on and around our attic hatch, which our energy auditor had noted as a particularly massive source of heat loss. After much sawing and gluing of foam board insulation, and handling and inhalation of decades-old pink fibreglass, and bending and twisting and contorting under the low pitch of our roof, the frost pattern on our shingles looked the same this morning as it had the past two winters. So there's that.

EDIT: 8:52 PM, 30-Nov-2010 -- Nnnnnnothing happening, except some eating of Lindor chocolates and watching the ESPN 30 For 30 doc on OJ Simpson. It is awesome, by the way.

EDIT: 10:17 PM, 1-Dec-2010 -- *inhale* Nothing happening, although we had something of a false start last night. Nothing to really worry about though - just a sign that things are progressing (albeit very very slowly). EDIT: 9:15 AM, 3-Dec-2010 -- Nothing happening. Unrelated observations: Dany Heatley spits a lot, like... a lot; that new CBC-commissioned Hannah Georges song sounds an awful lot like Death Cab For Cutie; I was one of the dozen people who didn't see Inception in theatres, so next week's DVD release is pretty exciting for me. That's all for now.
