These guys are kind of in the news now, what with their reunion tour and new greatest hits deal and stuff. I'm not sure where they stand on the guilty pleasure-o-meter - I think at one point they were really hot shit, but then they broke up, and the style of the time changed, and they were killed by Radiohead and ironic t-shirts and the internet. I think. Then the singer went on to release a whole string of really really bad albums, including a dance album I believe, which probably didn't help their legacy much.
Regardless, we saw Soundgarden on a trip to Quebec City back in university. And they were pretty excellent if I recall. And this used to be one of my favourite videos. And it makes me nostalgic for cassette tapes and plaid shirts and high school and the lakes and woods of the Eastern Shore.
