You Probably Don't Care To Read This

This blog is about pants. More specifically, this blog is about my waist size and stubby legs, and my life-long difficulty in finding a pair of pants that fit properly - both now, and in six months time. As such, this blog may represent the absolute pinnacle of pointless, narcissistic blathering in the site's history. Regardless...

As alluded to in the above, my stubby legs and feminine waistline make it quite difficult to find a pair of pants that fit properly, often leaving me to awkwardly roll up the cuffs, or beg my mother to apply her motherly hemming skills. Not ideal. Sometimes I take a chance and buy a pair that fit more or less perfectly at the time of purchase, but more often than not, I come to regret this in a few months when said pants have bunched and shrunk to the point where it looks like I'm wearing a pair of awkwardly-long clam-diggers. At the same time, buying pants that actually fit my waistline carries with it the pressure to maintain said waistline. Life is rough.

I mention all of the above because: (i) last night I picked up a new suit, the first since university, and (ii) today is the first (and likely last) Donair Day at work. And now you see the correlation, and why I am conflicted/concerned.

Again, life is rough.
