I don't follow football - I only use it as an excuse to drink beer and play/lose card games with a bunch of guys - dudes, if you will - some of whom I only see one day every February. Yesterday was that day, and it was drunken, hazy, messy, expensive, artery-clogging fun. And I am only now getting my head together to tell you about it, and to thank all those responsible for making it happen. Hi! Thanks!
The following is a list of things that I will associate with said event, at least in the short term, until old age, head injury or a particularly funny movie leads me to forget what I was talking about... which was... ?
Deer pepperoni. Pond hockey. Projection screens. In-between. Thunderous and terrifying propane heaters. Convoys of four-wheelers. Purple, mustachioed balaclavas. Jalapeno poppers. Old fat musicians and bored-looking drummers. My own drunken rambling.
Oh, and in the background there was some kind of sporting event going on (just kidding - it was a good game).
