ADHD Is Me/Useless Miscellany

Hey there you:
  • Lydia slept uninterrupted from 7:00 PM last night until 7:00 AM this morning - I am happy, rested, jealous.
  • Our office has gotten so large that there are now co-workers I see exclusively in the washroom, and given that I don't break anymore (making casual conversation with professional engineers is stressful), there are probably some that I never ever see.
  • There are over 7,700 songs on my iPod, but for some reason shuffle always, without fail, selects Spoon's My Mathematical Mind within the first dozen tracks. Odd. It really seems to like Jason Collett too.
  • Spirit Of The West just came across the pod - Celtic flute is really annoying at 8:00 in the morning.
  • Soul Asylum - considered by many to be one-hit wonders and associated with Gin Blossoms, Dishwalla, The Refreshments and other shitty late 90s MOR radio bands. I like to think of them in the context of my favourite Kevin Smith films, so I don't hate so much.
  • Those two toilets we installed last week - they both leak water from the base and will have to be re-re-re-installed. Urge to kill - rising, but suppressed somewhat by that fact that...
  • There are 9 working days left until my vacation. I don't know if I can wait - I would gladly put myself into a coma for the difference. Someone see me in my cubicle with some chloroform and a monkey wrench.
  • On Saturday night, I may have drunkenly promised a lot of people I would do a lot of things. Sober Aaron has a better grasp of his financial situation and knows he probably can't afford to do any of these things - take note if you were one of those people. Apologies.
