'Sup?

Do you really wanna know?

Well, currently, I am:
- at work, making the most of my break (i.e.) not moving from the computer...
- trying my best to stave of a stupid summer head cold, which has been pulling cheap shots at my sinuses and nostrils for the past week or so, but not having the guts to swing like a man. I fought back last night with some nighttime Cold n' Flu meds, and I was blissfully unconscious by 10:30...
- waiting patiently for the bankruptcy court decision on the Phoenix Coyotes (read: F5-ing TSN.ca every few minutes), which Michael Landsberg's Twitter assures me will be announced today, and which I expect will still be frustratingly inconclusive...
- looking forward to going home and downloading this: http://theultimatebootlegexperience.blogspot.com/2009/06/faith-no-more-2009-06-09-download.html - a bootleg recording of the recent Faith No More reunion show in Europe (sadly, still minus Jim Martin)...
- pretty much recovered from the stress of my Friday night Stanley Cup watching "event". Perhaps regrettable in hindsight: I stayed up for an extra hour after the guys left to watch playoff highlights, champagne-tossing footage, and a string of redundant, shouted interviews. Tee-hee - swearing! I also consumed an embarrassingly small amount of beer for how crappy I felt over the two days that followed - my university-self would be ashamed. Note for any Dads-to-be: it ain't easy to recover from a night of even-mild debauchery when you have an early rising toddler; my kudos to any semi-functioning alcoholic parent. It was worth it though - Crosby won and the Cup will be parading though my neighbourhood sometime shortly. I'd like to think that my not shaving since Game 2 had something to do with it, coupled with my wise decision to go back to Stella after drinking Red Stripe resulted in an embarrassing Game 5 meltdown (for both of us). Take that Babcock...
- exaggerating and thinking wishfully.
