Sheesh

I must be getting progressively more stupid, or rushed, or self-conscious, or all three because those last few blog posts have been more rambling and poorly written than usual. Or so they seem to me. I have no excuses to offer. I suppose it is possible that I'm only now starting to become aware of my own bad habits, or maybe they're just getting worse. In the end - sorry.

For those who only read to get updates on baby Lydia: teething pains continue for all. Plus, she has recently learned to roll from her back to her belly in the crib, but only when she gets really worked up (e.g.) from say, teething. There have been times recently when she has flipped so quickly that I question whether I put her down right-side up or not - it's like she bounces. Terri has also caught her in this position chewing on the rungs of the crib, like a bald screaming beaver in a pink onesie. Cute. Exhausting.

For those who roll their eyes at every new baby-related post: my knees hurt from running and hockey and kneeing short people in the face. I like feta and hummus dip. Go Pens. Mogwai's Burn Girl Prom Queen is on my shuffle now, and it - along with the rain and my interrupted sleep last night - is likely depressing me.

Yay weekend!
