First Stop On The Tour

So here we are, in a swank apartment overlooking Sparks Street, just blocks from the Parliament buildings in Ottawa. It's grey and cruddy out, so we're inside - me nursing a pot of coffee and Lydia nursing a Terri. Yesterday was 30-degree hot, which pushed the comfort envelope a little for yours truly, but I survived, as did the rest of the fam...

The flight? After bracing ourselves for the worst, I suppose it was the best we could have hoped for. Lydia jumped up and down on my lap, chewed on the seatback entertainment, played peekaboo with the guy sitting behind us, befriended the guy sitting next to us, and fell asleep nursing for a good 45 minutes. No crying. No drama. No snakes. Only one diaper emergency. Phew.

In a few hours we'll be off - travelling south on our Wedding & Baby Tour. Next stop: Brockville, then on to Ogdenville and North Haverbrook. Great success!
