Hitting The Town/Dexter

So we're house-sitting and dog-sitting on the shore; checking out the beautiful grey spring skies, cracked wet pavement and muddy shoulders (spring, eh); enjoying the HBO and the Showtime and the Dexter and the Eastbound & Down, all of which: thumbs up (although I'm underwhelmed with some of Dexter Season 3 so far)...

Speaking of Dexter: the Rita scenes are quite weak this season - almost unwatchable, and some of the episodes are really predictable - some Million Dollar Baby-ish, and there is way too much talk of "friendship" and "trust" and "love" - no one talks like that. Then again, there probably aren't too many serial killer-killing serial killers out there, so I shouldn't really be expecting so much realism. Regardless, I hope it picks up.

So true about Dexter. It picks up a bit - but season 1 & 2 were much better, especially season 1.
