- I made my coffee too strong this morning. But I still need to drink it. It's killing me, deliciously.
- I keep catching drifts of unexpected odours both here at work and at home. I'm not sure if I am delusional, or if I am about to have a seizure, or if these smells really do exist. For example, my cubicle now mysteriously smells like fried chicken. Last night I swear I could smell incense in my kitchen (I suppose Terri and the baby could be smoking pot).
- I am slowly falling out of shape, although this is not unexpected.
- In my weaker moments, I get the unnerving sensation that our house, vehicle and big-ticket electronics are about to fall apart - all in quick succession - leaving us destitute, house-bound, and unable to watch Jim Nunn on the CBC News or surf my pool sites or, you know, keep our food cold. I blame the Tories.
- I find I can no longer stay awake long enough to watch a full hockey game broadcast. Two periods is all I can take, and it seems all of the action takes place in the third (see Habs game last night).
