One Day Until Neil

Little known facts about this Neil Young fan:
- I own two Neil Young biographies - "Shakey" and "Neil And Me".
- Back in university, I once used all of my letters in Scrabble to spell the word "diagonal". The high from those 50 bonus points lasted a considerable amount of time and helped me to overlook the fact I was a poor and immature student, living off of coffee and nachos and draft, getting fatter, trimming lettuce at Sobeys, wearing shitty clothes and unable to communicate comfortably and appropriately with anyone more than 2 years older than I was.
- Despite trying for close to ten years, I still can't play Needle And The Damage Done on guitar.
- I have never been in a fistfight, but I have been punched in the face.
- I am terrible at golf.
- My favourite Neil Young songs are all longer than seven minutes, and I have no problem with artists shamelessly ripping off Neil (e.g. att-May ays-May).
- I used to play in a basement band with some friends. We had a single paid gig. At said show we played both Tool and Tracy Chapman - without irony - and no Neil Young.
- Despite awful reviews, I still love the Broken Arrow album. Ditto for Sleeps With Angels, but mainly for nostalgic reasons.
- I'm big on nostalgia. It's probably not healthy.
