- Is a shitty, pre-sex tape scandal Rob Lowe movie from the 80s. I'm assuming it's shitty (86%?!?); I have never actually watched it. I gather that few on the shore have seen it either because I remember seeing it in the exact same spot on the wall every time we rented a VHS tape (I'm old!) from The Villager deli/pizzeria/butcher/convenience store/video rental in Porters Lake, which, despite being a good 10-15 minutes up the road, was the closest video rental place to our home at the time.
- I played my first game of hockey since B-day, which was also my first non-essential, purely-social outing in three weeks. Fun times, despite being on the losing end. Questionable timing too, because meanwhile, back at the homestead:
- Baby Lydia started on an hourly feeding frenzy and growth spurt, leaving poor trooper Terri sleepless and propped up like a vending machine. Fortunately, this won't last. Dad feels guilty but useless.
- Dad also caught Laurie Brown's The Signal program on CBC Radio Two on the drive home from hockey last night and he liked. He is going to seek this out on podcast, if one exists, and, more importantly, will stop referring to himself in the third person... now.
