The Weekend Tally

• I applied 2 coats of paint
• on 7 windows (2 of which were kinda rotted)
• on the 3rd floor
• over 13 hours and 2 days;
• plus I watched 1 scary movie (The Haunting),
• 1 surprisingly good comedy (Forgetting Sarah Marshall),
• about 6 periods of 3 hockey games,
• and 1 Hockey Night In Canada Anthem Special
• where 5 songs were filtered through 1 cheesy producer (Bob Rock)
• and they all came out sounding like, more or less, the same 1 song
• but, FWIW, I would vote for entry number 4,
• by the 2 guys from Quebec
• who also wrote the theme for the '76 Olympic Games.
