- No word from the soulless analrapists at DELL. My questionably-justified hatred still grows. Thankfully Lockhart saved the day with a loaner laptop. Yay.
- The Nova Scotia weather is cooling off and great for sleeping once again. Yay.
- Terri is 34 weeks and counting - and healthy and happy and excited. Today is our hospital tour. I should tattoo the map onto my torso for quick recall in the pending labour panic. (Yay)
- We saw Burn After Reading on Friday night. I would file between Intolerable Cruelty and Raising Arizona, but nowhere near Lebowski or O Brother (my faves). Thumbs up though.
- Added to my corporate shit-list: Rogers cellular, for consistent over-billing (we suspect but cannot prove) and for being so very frustrating to deal with on the phone. I hope they are more reasonable when we call to cancel their ass.
- My Habs added Robert Lang. Not sure how I feel about this pick-up, reminds me of the Joe Juneau signing a few years ago, and that went nowhere. I feel big things are coming for Carey Price this season, including a new mask (I hope).
- After all these months, coffee is still delicious. I'm back on the twitchy wagon, but in moderation. I suspect coffee will be very important come baby time, so I have to get my system reacquainted. No Tim's if I can help it though - going back to Tim's after a lengthy hiatus: poison, self-sabotage. Avoid at all costs.

welcome back. the people at rogers are asses. don't get me or cruddick started on them. as are the people at MSP (medical services plan) in BC...1) when you call there is no option to speak to a "real person", only an automated menu; 2) you have to pay for basic health care (e.g., emergency ambulance rides etc) in this province but it's free in NS. god bless NS. we're coming home! woot!
We should def have a party when you guys get back.
I think that in NS you still end up paying about $300/per ambulance ride, but most of it is subsidized. The trick is to not get hurt.
Hi Cruddick.
most def ;)
our ETA is thankgiving weekend...
That's pretty close to baby go-time, but we'll see what we can do!
we'd be happy to just come by and see you folks. no need for a party. we're gonna have a mother of a party when i defend, hopefully end of nov.
