Boy am I embarrassed. Number of responses to my attempt at firing up the old team blog: zero. I guess the free time, youthful creativity, unfocused ambition, motivation, need for attention and desire to be part of some abstract, anonymous, and impersonal "team" that we/you had demonstrated during our mid-20s... has all dried up and been supplanted by new families, new jobs, new adult responsibilities, ambivalence and fatigue. Understood, completely. Me? Well, I (still) obviously have no issues with venting and publishing personal details through barely coherent run-on sentences and wannabe artsy photos, and I shall continue to do so until my new adult responsibilities get the better of me (which may be in T-minus seven weeks or so, but hopefully not).
So that my half hour of development time will not go to waste, The Hayseed Reader blog site will not be deleted - rather, it shall continue to exist in the dusty, darkened wings of the interweb reserved for abandoned web pages - like the Island of Forgotten Toys - waiting to be resuscitated by a needy child at Christmas. Wait, what?
