More Admissions

• I have never learned how to tie a tie. I have three pre-tied ties that hang in my closet to get me by and to quell any motivation I might otherwise have to learn how to tie a perfect Oxford knot (or is it a Windsor knot?). I have a feeling that this may someday prove to be very embarrassing (I foresee a conference, a lost or ruined tie, a lender, and me standing in front of the mirror like a sweaty teenager with an un-tied tie hanging around my neck and a single tear running down my cheek), but for now I don't really care.
• I don't really follow football, but I want Brett Favre to fail miserably and for Aaron Rodgers to kick ass this season. This whole retire/return/retire/repeat thing drives me crazy, especially after the tearful press conferences and the final laps and the career retrospectives, ugh (although, this is pretty hilarious: http://www.theonion.com/content/news/brett_favre_getting_that).
• I have yet to watch The Godfather Part II (or Part III), or Schindler's List, or Saving Private Ryan, or Citizen Kane, or The Dark Knight, yet I have seen the first five Police Academy movies and watched Half Baked at least four times.
• I really dislike punk music.
• I really like sour cream glazed doughnuts.
• Sometimes I exaggerate. Sometimes I mumble. Sometimes I mis-speak. Sometimes I lisp.
