I give round one to the bushy-bearded bassist Brendan Canning, over the breathy (and also breaded) Kevin Drew. Save for two or three tracks, I didn't really enjoy Drew's solo album all that much. Conversely, Canning's is pretty solid all the way through, if a bit more subdued. Plus, Canning didn't employ Tom Cochrane, even ironically. However, in ranking the total solo output of the BSS members - know that Feist kills them all.
