On Habs and Aeros

Well, the Habs are out - but the Aeros are still in! The Aeros being my team in the company hockey tournament. Our schedule last night - three games in a row - meant that I had to miss seeing my precious Habs be eliminated from contention, which is probably a good thing because it looked from the highlights to be pretty demoralizing...

So, the company tournament... this year they wisely decided to hire refereeing instead of coaxing employees to handle that nightmare - wise because last year the police were called in during a brawl, and three years ago a referee (employee) was decked by a drunken player (employee), and each year the games run long from extended arguments after each whistle, goal, penalty, etc.

So, so far so good, even if my muscles are tight and screaming this morning, and I probably had a few too many drinks during our post-game celebration last night...
