Grandaddy: I used to listen to "The Sophtware Slump" obsessively back in university. I think they released two or three other albums after that, but by then I had kind of stopped paying attention. Then they broke up, and the members of this Bowie-championed band just kind of disappeared; too bad because I loved the droning keyboards and slacker Neil Young vocals...

Jimmy Fallon: Moderately funny and mostly famous for not being able to keep a straight face on SNL, he made like Joe Piscopo before him and left the show only to fall into obscurity. Last seen dancing goofily in a Pepsi ad...

Q-Tip: Left one of my favourite hip-hop acts (evar!) to launch a solo career, and hasn't been seen since (by me anyway, but I haven't really had my finger on the pulse of hip-hop of late)...

Speaking of vanishing rappers - where are the remaining members of A Tribe Called Quest? Everyone from Leaders Of The New School except Busta Rhymes? The Pharcyde? MC Ren? Das EFX? Paris? Etc. etc. etc. (see dozens of other early 90s RapCity staple acts).

I acknowledge that this list was kind of pointless with the entirety of the internet at my fingertips, but...
