I want to write a novel. I want to write a novel about a porcupine and a shark who can communicate with each other telepathically. Is that a stupid idea? What if I included a human ghost character, whose purpose is to lead the porcupine to the sea to meet the shark? Is that better or worse? The story will take place on top of North Mountain in the Highlands National Park. It will be about the ghost guy finding purpose in death where he had none in life - a real second-chance, feel-good kinda story. Working title: TBD.
The above will be followed up with another novel, this one about a guy who wins the lottery, then becomes a shut-in, and eventually begins to think he is a cat. Working title: "My Life As A Housecat". It will be my second masterpiece.
I'll have my Pulitzer, Gellar and Governor General speeches prepared well in advance. No you can't borrow $200 bucks.
