Hello nurse!

Rotary phones. Canvas tents. Backyard rinks. Snow days. Flashlight tag. Rabbit ears. Cassette tapes. Sugary breakfast cereals. Northern lights. Pristine lakes. Etc. Etc.

So here I am with another kick at the blogging can. Same pseudonym. Different motivation - although I'm sure this blog, like the other, will eventually devolve into me ranting/raving about music, movies, tv and sports...

This go 'round was motivated by a sudden and inexplicable burst of nostalgia. For the country. For the 1980s. For, well, everything listed above. Maybe this all stems from a weekend spent house-sitting for my parents. Maybe its related to all my friends now birthing and raising children. Maybe its stress at work. Maybe it was all those stubby beer I drank last night. Regardless, here I am - with full Blogger-powered comment functionality - ready to serve. While others are padding their resumes, changing diapers, and preparing for retirement... I'll be here talking about my cats.
